Local Pill Box regular Steve Sherman began his photographic career at Transworld Skateboarding Magazine and later went on to help found the groundbreaking Transworld Surf Magazine as a photo editor.

He is currently a senior staff photographer of Surfing Magazine. Sherman’s surf star portraits and lifestyle photography explore uncharted realms of behind-the-scenes intimacy and journalistic presence, bringing fans closer to their surfing heroes than they ever thought possible.

2009 Dues are lowered for the depression value of $40.00 and includes a SBSA tee shirt and a 6 pack of Primo Beer from Hawaii.

All funds will to be used to rebuild the fence at Pill Box.

The Solana Beach Surfing Association is committed to preserving our world-class, environmentally sound beaches in Solana Beach, California.
